Mariah Carey had an absolute nightmare welcoming 2017 in on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
The biggest diva in pop was supposed to perform three songs before the ball dropped at midnight, but she half-heartedly performed one and a half songs, spending the rest of the time bitching about everyone and everything.
OK, so there were clearly some technical difficulties, although these appear to amount to nothing more than Carey being unable to hear the backing track.
However, this gives her whole act away, revealing what parts of songs she lip-syncs. Which is all of the hard-to-hit notes.
Just do us all a favor and retire gracefully, Mariah. It’s time.
