Death Diving is an extreme sport originating out of Norway. And, as the name suggests, it involves people hurling themselves into swimming pools.
This video shows some guy commentating on the women’s event. And he has a lot of fun watching women diving disgracefully into water.
The idea of Death Diving is to hold a pose in the air which would hurt when hitting the water. But just before you do hit the water, you switch it up to stay safe.
We see some great examples of the craft here, with the winner doing a superwoman spin with her hands on her hips. Which goes down well with the judges.
