Christmas is meant to be a time for family, and getting together with friends, giving gifts to each other, and having a slap up meal. But unfortunately, alcohol also plays a huge part in proceedings over the holiday season.

There’s nothing wrong with having a few drinks to relax but it’s a huge issue if you’re planning on driving anyway, which a lot of us do on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Luckily, your iPhone can help.

This video shows a new device called the iBreath, which is basically an iPhone breathalyzer. Just attach it to your Apple iPhone, blow for ten seconds and get told whether you’re over the legal limit to drive or not.

Actually, I’d recommend not drinking at all if you’re planning on doing any driving that day but if there’s alcohol in the Christmas pudding then this device will at least save you from getting a DUI.
