LCP

Last month, I shared a video about a Mexican Mac vs. PC Parody. Little did I know that the video came from a popular award-winning comedy ensemble called ‘The Latino Comedy Project’ (or simply ‘LCP’ for short).

The group has performed alongside big-name comics like Carlos Mencia and Gabriel Iglesias, and now they have their own online sketch-comedy show. “They’re bad. They’re brown. They’re the Latino Comedy Project!”

Although the comedy in their videos is universal, as the name states, their videos are made by Latinos, for Latinos. The Mac vs. PC parodies, for example, make light of illegal immigration issues. It may not be in your face, but the LCP’s videos do have an underlying political stance.

‘You’re Welcome / We’re Sorry’ Video

Here we have the funny and semi-political ‘You’re Welcome / We’re Sorry’ video. A video that celebrates the many Latino contributions to our society, but at the same time, apologizes for the “few things we let slip by.”
