What is Easter? Well, it sure as hell isn’t a celebration of Jesus Christ being resurrected from the dead, at least not originally. The Church stole it in the same way they stole Christmas, although in its pagan days it obviously wasn’t called that.

This video has a hot girl with an extremely nice chest and an extremely tight top explaining the origins of Easter, Easter eggs, and the Easter Bunny. This time of year was celebrated long before Jesus ever walked the Earth.

I don’t post this video to mock Christians for their beliefs or anything approaching that. I firmly believe everyone is entitled to have faith in whatever they want.

But this is an answer to all the barbed comments on the Web this time of year moaning about the commercialization of Easter and trying to find the true meaning of the holiday. The true meaning has nothing to do with Christianity.

Easter is just as much about eating chocolate and giving eggs as gifts as it is about Jesus rising from his grave. In fact, probably more so. After all, Jesus rising from his grave would make him a zombie. So Happy Zombie Jesus Day!
