The 80th annual Academy Awards took place on Sunday night, and there were the usual amount of surprises amongst the winners, losers (and weirdos like Gary Busey).
This video shows a brief run-down of the highlights of the show, and how Europe took away some of the top prizes, with British actors doing particularly well.
I’ve yet to see the film which was the big winner on the night, No Country For Old Men, but as good as it is, it just doesn’t appeal to my cinematic tastes.
The writers strike obviously ended in time to allow the ceremony to go ahead, but now there is talk of an actors strike possibly being called in the near future… Hollywood sucks!
