The Three Stooges are back thanks to gross-out comedy kings The Farrelly Brothers.
I’m not really sure whether this classic comedy franchise needed a reboot, especially by the guys who brought us Dumb and Dumber and Hall Pass. But we’ve got it, so I guess we’ll just have to grin and bear it.
This remake isn’t completely without charm. We’ve got the talents of Sean Hayes after all, and there seems to be some ample bosoms for the lads. But it seems like these quirky brothers have simply been transplanted into the present day. It all seems a bit outdated in amongst the iPhones and Snooki.
We’ll work out whether The Three Stooges legacy should have been left in the past when the new film opens on April 4.
