Whenever a new open world game is released, the developers talk up how vast the game’s world is, and how it allows players to endlessly explore.

The one problem with this is that most open world games have too little to do, which means you can wander for days without finding anything interesting.

This video nails how it can feel to play an open world game. Which involves lots of walking punctuated by the occasional fight and lucky find.

Not all open world games are like this, of course. Rockstar always packs loads of content into their titles, such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.
