It’s fair to say Tiger Woods hasn’t had a very good week. First there were allegations of extra-marital activity, then he had a car crash under strange circumstances, and now this.

The video shows the audio recording of a voicemail message Woods allegedly left on the phone of Jaimee Grubbs, one of a few women alleged to have had affairs with Tiger. It may not be irrefutable evidence but it’s strong enough.

I don’t think anyone in this story is coming out of it particularly well. Tiger Woods is alleged to have cheated on his wife Elin Nordegren, and Jaimee Grubbs is alleging she slept with him and has sold her story. Which is always a sucky thing to do.

Tiger Woods has now commented on these “transgressions” on his official Web site. However, he fails to mention which stories he’s commenting on except for the car crash. Furthermore, he’s admitting nothing.

I think it may be time for him to come clean, try to save his marriage, and then put it all behind him. This PR nonsense of avoiding the issue isn’t convincing anyone.
