With the original Titanic having recently been re-released, now would seem the perfect time to watch a trailer for Titanic II. Especially as a new replica Titanic is being built.
OK, so the trailer isn’t real. There isn’t a Titanic sequel and I hope there never is. James Cameron wouldn’t be that crass, would he?
However, a replica ship is being built, with Australian tycoon Clive Palmer having commissioned a new luxury liner that will look just like Titanic. It won’t be built in the same way though, with many improvement under the waterline.
This news has split opinion. Some have expressed an interest in taking a trip on Titanic II, while others fear that the maiden England to New York voyage is a disaster waiting to happen.
