I don’t mean to insult pawn shops. They have helped many people in tough times. But they are still a business that wants to make a profit, so they’re not going to offer you all the money they can get for what you’re giving.

To offer one fifth of what your items are worth? Now that’s just disgusting. Even a pawn shop offered more than half.
