Almost 3 years ago, Tom Cruises’s Scientology incidents were the subject of many bashings. His heated interview with Matt Lauer, for one, gave the world a glimpse of the cocky Cruise no one had seen before. But today the two reunited on good terms.

“That came across [as] arrogant,” Tom says in this video.

As an entertainer with so much power, it’s important not to impose your personal views on others. Now realizing this mistake, Tom claims to have learned “a good lesson.” It’s hard to believe this is the same man that told Lauer “You don’t even know what Ritalin is” and that he was “glib.”
