Rumors that have been floating around were cleared up as Auburn has dismissed Tommy Tuberville after 10 years as coach of the Tigers.

“After struggling through a 5-7 season after being dubbed as the pre-season SEC West favorites, Auburn fired head coach Tommy Tuberville Wednesday, after 10 years at the helm.” – Scout.com

Ouch. You would think after ten years they would give him a little leeway for having an ‘off’ season. Then again, maybe they feel it’s time to ‘put him out to pasture’. Either way, things are going to be shaken up for the Tigers.
