“Top Gear” Tests The iReal Video | Like a Wheelchair on Steroids!

25 sec read

In this fantastic video Top Gear’s Richard Hammond heads to Toyota City, Japan to test the future of personal motoring: the iReal.

On face value this seems like nothing more than a glorified wheelchair. But take it out on the road and things really start to happen.

With a top speed of 20 miles an hour, this thing can really motor around town. It’s certainly not going to replace the family car, but as a way to get around for the lazy it’s really not bad!

I also love the communication technology, which allows you to communicate with other iReal users and invite them out to coffee! Now that’s a secret club I want to be a part of. Sign me up!
