This past weekend Travis Pastrana was the star attraction at Evel Live!, a celebration of the life and times of stuntman Evel Knievel.
Evel Knievel was a stunt motorcyclist who found fame and fortune in the 1960s and 70s by jumping over increasingly large and dangerous distances.
For Evel Live! Travis Pastrana emulated three of Knievel’s most famous stunts, jumping over cars and buses, and hundreds of feet in distance.
Unlike Knievel, Pastrana did all three jumps in the space of a few hours. He also landed them all successfully, whereas Knievel famously crashed upon landing, breaking various bones.
