This is the latest United State Of Pop, an annual mashup featuring some of the best pop songs from the past 12 months. This year’s edition is titled Do What You Wanna Do.
Do What You Wanna Do features tracks from the likes of Maroon 5, Iggy Azalea, Meghan Trainor, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Sam Smith.
I’ll be honest and admit this is all a little lost on me, because I don’t know most of the individual tracks used in Do What You Wanna Do. Still, it’s made some terrible pop songs slightly more tolerable, which is good.
This is actually the eighth installment of United State Of Pop, with DJ Earworm having released a new one of these mashups every year since 2007. Which, in Internet terms, is a lifetime.
