Huff Post spoke with actress Vanessa Hudgens during a segment, during which they asked the High School Musical star what she was doing at 18 and who her first crush was. Hudgens couldn’t remember the name of her first crush, but did reveal her teenage celebrity crush.
She said, “My celebrity crush during my teenage years was probably my boyfriend at the time… so.. Zac Efron.”
Recalling her favorite memory as a teen, Hudgens said her favorite time was traveling around during High School Musical and reminiscing about her time with Ashley Tisdale, where they would both dance around the plane.
Hudgens gave her younger fans a tip on life, saying, “Work hard, stay committed, stay dedicated.”
The actress also dished on why she cut her hair short, flaunting a “bob” look this week, with People. The star, co-hosting with Ludacris this weekend at the Billboard Music Awards, cut her hair to chin-length, stating, “I’m just an extremist when it comes to hair.”
“I just wanted to mix it up, chic it out a little.”
The star took to Instagram two days ago to flaunt her new look, thanking Nikki Lee from L.A.’s Nine Zero One salon for the cut. She states that she has been going to Nikki for years and trusts her hair in Nikki’s hands.
“I totally trust them,” she told People.
Hollywoodlife.com spoke exclusively to a person close to the actress this week, asking the celebrity about her ex, Zac Efron in his new role in Baywatch. The actor is seen in many trailers running on the beach with his abs on full display.
The couple separated over six years ago.
The source stated that Vanessa still holds a little animosity towards Efron and doesn’t want to see him on screen shirtless for two hours. She doesn’t have plans to watch Efron on the big screen, although she admires The Rock, who is also in the movie.
