I adore this animated video, as not only is it cute and funny, it’s well drawn and has a punchline that will make you laugh out loud.
The other reason this video works so well is that it’s so true. Okay, so your cat may not resort to a baseball bat around the head to wake you up, but a lot of them get damn close to doing so.
I love how the humour is really quite subtle until the end when obviously the poor guy gets a smack around the head purely for not getting up and feeding the cat on time.
If you own or ever have owned a pet cat you’ll definitely recognise some of the behaviour. But isn’t it this very behaviour, the blatant intelligence and independence that makes us all such huge cat lovers?
