Many, many Americans spend their last months, weeks and days in an intensive care section, often getting a plethora of tests and procedures that some are calling wasteful.

While I do need more time to digest what has been said in this video, I do heartily agree with what the doctor said at the end of the video.

Americans, as well as many other countries, need to accept that we all die at some point. We are mortal.

You think that would be an easy concept to understand, but – as you can see from this video – it’s not being accepted enough for needless tests and operations to stop being performed.
