Okay, so this talk didn’t quite go the way I was hoping it would, given the title and description, but it’s still an interesting video.

Humans are obsessed with their own destruction, so to look at a quieter kind of mass extinction (in the grand scheme of things) kind of irks us in a basic way.

But, we still have to accept we might go out with a whimper…
