United States Thanksgiving is over, which signals the time that most people switch over into full-time Christmas mode. Or other holiday mode. I don’t mean to be mean to my non-Christmas-ing people out there.

When it comes to holidays – or birthdays, significant dates, etc – then I am all about the DIY snacks and sweets for the fastest way to people’s hearts.

It helps that I love baking and stuff in general, but I find that most people would rather have food than some cheap trinket that they may or may not use.
