The biggest fashion show ever in New York city is on, with Fashion’s Night Out 2010 presented by Vogue in full swing.

This fashion show and other festival events are meant to make shoppers feel better about shopping and buying after the industry took a dive during the recession.

Opening their doors to retailers and fashion moguls from both the US and around the world, there are events happening even outside of New York.

Whether the opportunity to mingle with the great names of fashion will prove to being a buying incentive remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a push in the right direction.
