The E! News host, Giuliana Rancic, and her husband Bill visited the Today show to talk about her breast cancer, their new plan of attack and coping with the decision.

Just seven weeks after announcing that she has breast cancer, Rancic has decided on a treatment that she feels will give her the best chance of survival: a double mastectomy.

For those who aren’t familiar, a double mastectomy is the removal of both breasts.

It is a tough decision for a woman to choose to lose what is physically and culturally such a big part of her identity.

Here’s hoping it helps her back to health.
