“The other night, House of the Dragon pulled off a surprise win at the 80th Annual Golden Globes, taking home the prize for Best Drama.
“That’s something that not even Game of Thrones ever managed to do, so celebrations were in order!
“Accepting the award were showrunner Miguel Sapochnik, and actors Milly Alcock and Emma D’Arcy, who played the young and adult versions of Rhaenyra Targaryen respectively.
“You can tell that HBO wasn’t expecting to win the award; otherwise they would have sent more people. Still, the trio made the most of it…”
