“Fill a bag with trash, get a free joint. That was the deal at a cleanup event Sunday at Bancroft Park in Colorado Springs.
“It was sponsored by The Pothole Cannabis Club. The club hosted similar events at other parks during the summer months.
“On Sunday, more than 100 bags of trash were collected. The Pothole’s owner said the goal for his group was to show the community, members were more than a bunch of stoners.
“”They painted a bad picture for us. They think we are just some stoners that just get high and don’t have no lives or no kids or have any responsibilities. It’s not like that. We’re just like them. We’re just normal, like-minded people smoking cannabis…””
