An amateur documentary filmmaker goes to Chernobyl and Pripyat to touch back on history and investigate the current conditions of these towns.

This documentary may have been made by an amateur filmmaker, but I think it is fantastic in quality and scope.

I was born months after the disaster happened, so I don’t know many of the details at all.

To explore some of the history (I didn’t know it failed because of an experiment!) while looking at it the way it is today, it makes me feel like there is so much I have missed.

It’s a powerful piece, and I’m happy to have watched it.
