The National Dog Show is the Thanksgiving Day answer to the Macy’s Parade. With many dogs of many breeds on show, there is plenty to talk about and admire.

I never got into dog shows much myself as a kid, and seeing a documentary on some of the things that happen to be ‘pure bred’ turned me off. However, that doesn’t mean that a lot of these dogs are absolutely gorgeous and talented.

And the result for the winner of the 2010 National Dog Show is Clooney, a three-year-old Irish Setter. A very beautiful dog I am sure you will be hearing more about if you follow dog shows.
