“Kristin Chenoweth recently shared her thoughts on Ariana Grande’s upcoming role as Glinda in the movie adaptation of Wicked. Chenoweth famously played the character in the musical’s original Broadway cast. She had nothing but praise for Grande.
“Chenoweth was recently a guest on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, where she shared her thoughts on Grande’s casting as Glinda. She told host Andy Cohen that she has talked to Grande about her role in the upcoming movie adaptations.
““She’s gonna put her own stamp on it,” Chenoweth said. “Because I’m so proud of her. I wanted her to do her Glinda. And that’s what she’s doing. I’m proud of her.””
