In a show filled with lights, music, costumes, and hip beats… its actually a nice change to see such a soft, sweet ballad take the win.
Say what you want – and my god are people saying what they want – but the song is gorgeous.
It’s sweet, and soft, and gentle, and speaks to a time when crooning ballads were more common and plucking our heart strings.
Do I know what they are singing about? I have absolutely no idea. I am utterly and completely uni-lingual.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the music and pick up on the feelings.
Calm down. Enjoy.
