“Comedian Russell Brand has suggested that he will dress his daughter in gender neutral clothing so that she has the freedom to decide what gender she wants to become.
“Speaking about the birth of his daughter Mabel with fiancee Laura Gallacher, 27, Brand said that he wanted to see “how she formulates”, adding that becoming a father had changed the way he looked at gender.
““Now that I have these very important women in my life I have re-evaluated the way that I unconsciously looked at gender, because now I’ve got a daughter I think ‘wow, I don’t necessarily need to dress her in clothes that are indicative of her gender’,” he told ITV’s This Morning programme yesterday.”
