This explanation sounds reasonable and all… but I would like to suggest that cats just like to mess with us.

It makes me kind of sad to think about my kitty having anxiety, but at the same time, I do feel a lot better about leaving open boxes around the house for him.

The thing is, my cat was never really into boxes, but now as he’s getting a bit older, he’s starting to like them more.

Does that mean he’s getting more anxiety as he grows older? Or does that mean that he’s really moving forward with planning my demise and needs headquarters?
