So you can multitask, but not in the way you think you can multitask.

“For years, we’ve known that humans can’t multitask. We can serial task by switching our attention back and forth between tasks quickly, but it makes us less efficient.

I’m pretty awful at pretending to multitask aka serial tasking. I do it more to procrastinate than to get any real work done.
