If you’re over a certain age you’ll think most modern music is terrible. There might be the odd song you enjoy, but for the most part it will leave you cold.
It turns out there’s a reason for that. That reason being you’re now officially old. And your taste in music is now set in stone for life.
Science tells us that the music we like when we’re teeangers forms the basis for our tastes moving forward through life. The artists may change, but the styles and genres will remain the same.
This is all to do with puberty, as everything we experience during puberty is deemed important. Including the kinds of music that gets us going.
