Piers Morgan Live has been cancelled, with CNN deciding to end the show thanks to falling ratings. This video may help to explain why this is the case.
I’m no fan of Piers Morgan, but he appeared to be doing a good job on CNN. Unfortunately, viewers obviously didn’t agree, with ratings tumbling once Larry King left the slot.
The problem, as identified by Morgan himself, is America’s hatred for gun control and gun control advocates, with Morgan being a fierce critic of the attitude to firearms in the U.S.
Morgan is a Brit who hates guns, as am I. But going on national television in America and arguing for strong gun control was never going to endear Morgan to the gun-toting general public.
