When I saw fellow WebTVHub blogger Lauren posting about that French guy (his last name is French), who was the fastest clapper ever, I thought of this recent video I saw on TV about the long-time running record holder for the longest fingernails ever, Lee Redmond.

She hasn’t cut her nails since Jimmy Carter was in office, and for those of you unfamiliar with American President History, he was in office in the late 70’s. That’s right, the 70’s; she has not cut her fingernails for almost 30 years.

In this video you can see her attempt to dial a phone and drive a car with nails so long it looks like she is holding rodeo ropes in both of her hands. More fun facts are in the clip itself.

I don’t know what in the world would motivate her to do this, as now she holds the World Record for longest nails and grossest world record, which she is not proud of.
