America promises to be a nation reborn when president elect Barack Obama is inaugurated on January 20. But for now, it’s a country full of young people who can’t quite shake that feeling of disillusionment.

In this video we hear their voices as they weigh in about the war, the environment, the government, and their society.

The footage is framed so we only see the moving mouths of the participants, forcing us to focus on their words.

I can only hope that if another video is made in a few years time, these young people might feel quite differently about their country and the world they live.
