This is the trailer for Zeitgeist: Moving Forward, an independently-produced documentary which suggests, in a nutshell, that we change the course of humanity.
There have already been two other movies in this vein – Zeitgeist: The Movie and Zeitgeist: Addendum – both of which are available to watch online. Some of the ideas discussed are good, others are crackpot.
Having read up on the Zeitgeist Movement that has spun off from the films, I find myself agreeing with a lot of what is being said. The current system is not working for many people, with a handful at the top getting most of the benefits of it.
The problem is subscribing to an alternative that for all we know may not work either. After all, communism didn’t work, even though it was much more idealistic than capitalism.
