This video is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I don’t know why it is, because there’s really not much going on, but it makes me crack up with laughter every single time I watch it.
The video, titled Colin’s Bear Animation, is funny enough on its own with any explanation of its origin. The music helps immensely, but it’s the bear’s movement that tip me over the edge.
But then it gets better, and funnier, when you read the background.
This is one guy’s final exam piece for an Animated Arts college course. This is the best animation he could come up with using the techniques he was taught. And he got an A for this piece of work!
There are tribute videos of this worth checking out as well, one featuring a giraffe and one featuring a dinosaur. They’re all hilarious.
