The first time you watch this video you won’t believe it’s true, with your mind telling you nature isn’t capable of such a thing. Sadly, it is, and this video is 100 percent genuine.
The Tree Man, as he’s called (although probably not to his face) is an Indonesian guy called Dede Koswara. After cutting himself on a branch as a teenager, branch and root-like warts started growing all over his body.
His hands and feet are now a tangle of roots, with beetles crawling all over them. And this mysterious condition, and the damage it does to the body, must be a nightmare to live with.
The good news is that due to the publicity Tree Man received a couple of years ago, he has since been treated for his condition. Although there is no cure, he’s doing much better than he was when this video was shot. As the follow-up shows.
