I have been fishing in rivers many times, but I have never yet been sea fishing, either off the coast or in a boat. This video has made it even less likely I ever will do so.
This video shows a guy reeling in a fish he has just caught from the sea. The problem is a huge seal is chasing after the fish.
Seals are big creatures, and if one wanted to I’m pretty sure it could make mincemeat out of an unarmed human. So to have one bearing down on you in this way must be pretty scary.
The fisherman does the only sensible thing: lets the seal take the fish and live to see another day. A downright cheeky seal then, but I guess he has more claim over the fish than we do.
