They say The Great Wall of China is so big it can be seen from space. So it’s only natural for a crazy skater to want to jump it.
Danny Way the “king of mega ramps” has won numerous medals for his crazy jumps. But this world record jump has to be his masterpiece.
Apparently, this is the footage of his 4th attempt on the jump in which he does what looks like a nosegrab. The first time he bailed, the second time he made it (without a trick), and the third time he missed the landing.
What amazes me is that the ramp is even bigger than the wall. After he makes the jump, the sheer speed causes him to lose his board on the ramp and break his finger in the fall.
Still, this jump is one for the history books.
