Shocking advertisements are nothing new for animal rights group PETA, but few have inspired the controversy of this commercial starring everyone’s favorite Baywatch babe, Pamela Anderson.
Pammy plays the role of an airport security guard fleecing travelers of their leather and fur apparel. It’s a pretty simple idea, but with Pamela playing up her sex appeal real life airports say the ad just won’t fly.
The CNN Airport Network has apparently refused to run the ad at several airports as it fears children would spot it. I’m also hearing that some are concerned the commercial makes a mockery of airport security.
But that’s probably of little concern to PETA. That controversy probably means more people are watching it than ever!
