Be Kind Rewind is a new movie from director Michel Gondry, and starring Jack Black and Mos Def.
As part of the promotion of the film, the makers have teamed up with YouTube to have a channel dedicated to sweding, the main plot behind the movie.
Basically, sweding involves taking a film you like, and re filming it, with you as the star, and a whole host of other crap thrown in for good measure.

The movie itself sees Jack Black and Mos Def recreating Robocop, Ghostbusters, and Rush Hour, just not quite as big budget, or refined versions as the originals were.
In order to win prizes, including an all expenses paid trip to Hollywood, and an LG 37″ Plasma TV, you are now invited to swede your own movie, and upload it to the site.
At the moment, the competition is only available to people in the UK, although the movie does have it’s own US YouTube page, with a trailer for the film. Enjoy:
