I definitely befriended The Onion News Network when they launched their video news reports on MySpace. I love their satirical approach to telling the news.
The best way I can think to describe the news network is that they report the news that “really” matters, without changing face or tone. So, no Saturday Night Live side glances and in-between giggles, because this is the news that matters.
In this report we learn of Beyonce’s brush with death when a stray bullet nearly hit her as she walked down the street in LA. Thankfully a unimportant, regular-joe pedestrian got in the way and saved our beloved Beyonce.
Thank goodness for innocent bystanders like this self-less civilian. Without these brave souls saving our celebrities, our entire world would be so much more bleak.
