I never thought I’d be able to say this, but it looks as though we’ve finally got a good Transformers movie worth watching. At last!
The Michael Bay Transformers movies have got progressively worse. The first was pretty good, but The Last Knight was unwatchable for anyone with half a brain.
Now, with Michael Bay relegated to producing, we have a Transformers prequel in the form of Bumblebee. And as the name suggests this deals with Bumblebee’s time on Earth.
The militarism is gone, to be replaced by a simple story of a bond between a giant robot and a human outcast. And according to Jeremy Jahns Bumblebee works.
