Because we keep so many of them as pets, we humans get to see the full range of activities cats and dogs get up to. Well, who knows what they get up to when we leave them alone in the house, but that’s another story.
Some cats and dogs are strange, the same way as some humans are strange. Take this cat for example, who would rather drink water direct from the tap via his head rather than from a bowl. Weirdo.
Most cats hate water; I know mine does. But when he drinks it, he drinks it from a bowl in the kitchen that we top up daily. He would never, ever stick his head under the tap for any reason. In fact, he’s rather drink from a muddy puddle.
This cat is actually rather clever, because he’s learned that if he sticks his head under the tap the water washes down his face where he can lap at it. There’s just one problem: he gets a wet head over and over again for almost three minutes.
