Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is set after the events of Man of Steel, when Superman arrived on Earth and promptly destroyed half of New York City fighting his arch enemy.
Sickened by the antics of this alien intruder, Bruce Wayne seeks revenge. Thus, the two go head-to-head. Until a new enemy turns up, which makes them put aside their differences to join forces.
Oh, and Wonder Woman makes a brief appearance too.
