With the same old franchises trotted out year after year to collective groans from hardcore gamers — Call Of Duty, anyone?! — it’s nice to see new IP being given a chance.
The new IP on show in this video is Titanfall, a first-person shooter than ramps up the action using giant robots manned by the players.
This gameplay trailer does a fantastic job of selling the game, showing what typical players can expect to see in Titanfall, which is action-packed gun battles between humans in mechanized suits.
The Titanfall beta is due to begin shortly, with the full game being released on March 11 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. A PS4 version will hopefully follow.
