The Beastie Boys have turned filmmakers with the release of the upcoming release of their short movie Fight For Your Right Revisited. If the trailer is any indication, this short features laughs and stars aplenty.
The movie, which got a Sundance screening, sees Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, and Elijah Wood playing the Beastie Boys in their 80s heyday. They come face to face with their older selves, played by Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, and Jack Black.

Fight For Your Right Revisited should get a regular release to coincide with the launch of the Beastie Boys’ new album Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 in May.
