Frank Miller is the millionaire creator of comic books galore. And a confirmed capitalist. No one really knew that until today when he posted a rant against the Occupy movement on his blog.
I personally have mixed feelings on the Occupy movement. I’m ultimately for it, but I do wish the message was stronger and the solution was clearer. Because at the moment it all feels a little pointless.
Capitalism is a far from perfect system. It’s as flawed as all the other political and economic systems out there. But it’s what we’ve chosen so we kinda have to take the rough with the smooth. Money gravitates towards the top at all times.
As for Miller, what an idiot. Have an opinion, fine, but does it have to be spouted in such a way? I can only imagine he has lost a lot of his fanbase today. When will celebrities learn to keep their mouths shut?
